Description

The teacher training course “Master of Education in English (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)“ is four semesters long and taught in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The program aims to deepen the knowledge of students and further their qualifications. The curriculum consists of advanced modules in Educational Sciences, Subject Didactics and Methodology, English and a second subject, and German for immigrant students. Throughout their education, students will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll acquire hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for a successful career. The MEd prepares graduates for the challenging environment of the profession and qualifies them to assume teaching positions at grammar schools and comprehensive schools.
