The “Bacheror of Education in English (Teacher Training for Special Education)” is a 6-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Specialized Science and Subject Didactics in English Linguistics or Mathematics, Funding Priority, Vocational Pedagogoy, Educational Sciences, as well as German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can diversify their studies by taking up elective modules. Through various group projects and application-oriented seminars, students acquire hands-on experience and industry-specific skills. Furthermore, the program promotes the development of soft skills such as teamwork, communication and organisation, moderation, problem-solving, etc. Graduates are prepared to assume teaching positions in English at special education institutions. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
