Description


The teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in French (Teaching at Vocational Schools) is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Subject Science and Didactics in French and a further subject, Vocational Pedagogy, as well as German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by undertaking elective modules. The BEd is application-oriented and provides them with practical relevance and professional core competencies. Furthermore, it promotes personal growth and the development of soft skills such as teamwork, communication and organisation, moderation, problem-solving, etc. The BEd prepares graduates to become teachers at vocational schools or pursue a consecutive Master’s degree.
