The teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in French (Teacing at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)“ is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses in Science and Didactics in French and a further subject, Educational Sciences, as well as German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can tailor their studies to their interests by undertaking elective modules. Throughout their education, students will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll acquire hands-on experience, professional core competencies, and soft skills needed for the challenging working environment of the field. The program prepares graduates for teaching positions at grammar schools and comprehensive schools. It is also an excellent foundation for a later Master’s degree.
