Description


The “Bachelor of Education in French (Teaching at Lower Secondary, Secondary Modern, Secondary and Comprehensive Schools)” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. Throughout their education, students will gain a fundamental understanding of Subject Didactics and Methodology in French and a further subject, Education Sciences, as well as German for immigrant students. Participants can also choose from a plethora of elective modules and personalise their studies. They’ll receive in-depth theoretical and practical training and learn how to turn their knowledge into practice. Through various case studies and group projects, participants will acquire hands-on experience and professional core competencies. The program also promotes the development of soft skills needed for a successful career. The BEd qualifies students to assume teaching positions in French. They can also pursue a consecutive Master’s degree.
