The “Master of Arts in Gender Studies” is a 4-semester program conducted in German. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their education. The aim of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and provide them with extensive practice work. It builds on the content of the Bachelor’s degree and offers participants focus areas to choose from -  Cultural and Symbolic Representations, Socialization and Development, as well as Division of Labour and Social Structure. Additionally, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and broaden their knowledge. The MA is application-oriented and provides them with hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for a successful career. The program prepares students for complex tasks and qualifies them for leadership positions in Culture and Media, non-university educational institutions, Public Service, Private Sector, Politics, Research, etc.
