The “Master of Arts in German Linguistics” is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of University Paderborn. The aim of the program is to further the education of students by introducing them to more complex matters. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses with a focus on the socio-cultural, media, and historical contexts of the German Language. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to choose from a plethora of elective modules in order to diversify their education. Furthermore, the MA is research-oriented and provides participants with the social, methodological, and analytical skills needed to successfully carry out projects on their own. The program qualifies graduates for leadership positions in Cultural and Event Management, Publishing and Editing, Public Relations, Marketing and Advertising, Media, and Research.
