The “Bachelor of Arts in German Linguistics” is a 6-semester program taught in German. Throughout their education, students will focus on Speech Analysis, Empirical Text and Conversation Analysis, Language in the information society, Language Variation, Language History, Language between the individual and social character, and more. They can also choose from various elective modules and further their qualifications. The BA is application-oriented and provides participants with hands-on experience and industry-specific skills. The program also offers students the opportunity to study abroad and expand their horizons. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to pursue careers in NGOs and International Organisations, Adult Education, In-company Training, Publishing, Cultural Institutions, Advertising and Marketing, Press and Public Relations, etc. Graduates can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
