The “Master of Arts in German Literary Studies” is a 4-semester program taught in German. It is designed for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their education. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in methods and Literary Theories, Literary History, Genre Poetics, Contemporary Literature and Culture, and more. Participants can also choose between elective modules and tailor their studies to their interests. Throughout their education, students will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. The program also offers them the opportunity to study abroad and acquire key competencies, as well as practical relevance. Furthermore, the MA promotes the development of soft skills needed for a successful career. It qualifies them to pursue leadership positions in Publishing Houses, Cultural Institutions, Public Relations and Marketing, Media and Journalism, etc.
