Description

The “Master of Education in German (Teaching at Vocational Schools)” is a 4-semester program conducted in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The aim of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Educational Sciences, Subject Didactics and Methodology, German language for immigrant students, and more. On top of that, participants can personalise their studies by undertaking elective modules. The MEd is application-oriented and provides students with hands-on experience, as well as didactic and methodological skills needed for day-to-day operations. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume teaching positions in German at Vocational Schools.
