The “Master of Education in German (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)” is a 4-semester program conducted in German. It builds on the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The program aims to deepen the knowledge of students and provide them with practice work. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses in German, Educational Sciences, Subject Didactics and Methodology, and more. Additionally, participants can choose from various elective modules and tailor their studies to their interests. The MEd is application-oriented and teaches students how to turn theory into practice. It prepares them for the challenging environment of the profession and qualifies them to become teachers at high schools and comprehensive schools.
