Description


The “Bachelor of Education in History (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)” is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Science and Subject Didactics in History and a further subject, Educational Sciences, as well as German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can tailor their studies to their interests by undertaking elective modules. The BEd is application-oriented and aims to provide students with hands-on experience and key competencies. Furthermore, it offers them the opportunity to study abroad and expand their horizons. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to pursue a teaching career in History at grammar schools and comprehensive schools. The program is also an excellent foundation for a later Master’s degree.
