Description


The teacher training program „Master of Education in History (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)“ is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their education. The aim of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and provide them with extensive practice work. The curriculum includes advanced courses in Subject Didactics and Methodology in History and a further subject, Vocational Pedagogy, as well as German for immigrant students. Throughout their education, students will receive sound theoretical and practical training. They’ll acquire hands-on experience as well as professional core competencies needed for day-to-day operations. The MEd also offer them the opportunity to study abroad and further their knowledge. Upon completion of the program, graduates are prepared to become teachers in History at grammar schools and comprehensive schools.
