The “Master of Science in Industrial Engineering/Electrical Engineering” is a 4-semester program taught in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The focal point of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses in Energy and Environment, Cognitive Systems, Communication Technology, Microelectronics, Optoelectronics, Process Dynamics, and more. Participants can also choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their studies. The MSc is application-oriented and provides students with hands-on experience and industry-specific skills. The program prepares graduates for work in Strategic Product Planning, Production and Process Automation, Development and Construction, Management and Consulting, Sales and Logistics, Business and Corporate Organization, and Research.
