The “Bachelor of Education in Learning (Teacher Training for Special Education)” is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Science and Didactics in Learning and a further subject, Emotional and Social Development, Language, Educational Sciences, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, students can personalise their education by undertaking elective modules. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll acquire hands-on experience, as well as professional core competencies. Also, the program offers students the opportunity to study abroad and further their qualifications. The BEd prepares graduates to become teachers at special education institutions. They can also opt for a subsequent Master’s degree.
