The teacher training “Bachelor of Education in Learning Area Basic Language Education (Teacher Training for Special Education)“ is a 6-semester program taught in German. Throughout their studies, participants will focus on Vocational Pedagogy, Subject Didactics and Methodology, as well as German for immigrant students. Additionally, they can undertake elective modules and diversify their education. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, students will acquire hands-on experience and key competencies. The BEd also offers them the opportunity to carry out semesters abroad and expand their horizons. Furthermore, it promotes the development of soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. Graduates are prepared to become teachers at special education institutions right away or opt for a Master’s degree.
