Description
The “Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics” is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Introduction to Linguistics, Self-Determined Learning, Word, Phrase, Text, and Conversation, Language Practice - German, English, French, And Spanish, Speech Perception, and Language History. Additionally, students can diversify their education by undertaking elective modules. Throughout their studies, they’ll receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. Participants will acquire hands-on experience and key competencies needed for day-to-day operations. Furthermore, the program promotes personal growth and the development of soft skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, moderation, etc. The BA qualifies graduates to pursue positions in Press, media, public relations, Communication consulting, Publishing and librarianship, Computational linguistics, and adult education and personnel work. The program is also an excellent prerequisite to a Master’s degree.
