The “Master of Arts in Linguistics: Language Dynamics” is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The focal point of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Structure Formation And Structural Change, Communication and Cultural Practices, Dynamic Concepts/Cognition and Linguistic Variations, Language Practice, and more. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by taking up elective modules. The MA is research-oriented and provides them with the social, methodological, and analytical skills needed to carry out projects independently. Also, the program offers participants the opportunity to study abroad and gain hands-on experience and key competencies. Graduates are qualified to assume leadership positions in publishing houses, media agencies, communication consulting, associations and authorities, and marketing and HR departments.
