The “Master of Science in Materials Science” is a 4-semester program taught in German. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their education. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, Material Analysis, Materials Chemistry and Processing, Functional Materials, Computational Materials Science, etc. Additionally, participants can diversify their studies by taking up elective modules. The MSc is research-oriented and provides students with the social, methodological, and analytical skills needed to carry out projects independently. Furthermore, it offers them the opportunity to study abroad and expand their horizons. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to pursue a career in Material Testing Offices, Optical Industry, Automotive and Aircraft Industries, Plastic and Paint Industry, Energy Industry, Medical Technology, and Research and Development.
