The teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in Learning Area Basic Mathematical Education (Teacher Training for Special Education)“ is a 6-semester program taught in German. Throughout their studies, participants will focus on courses in Subject Didactics and Methodology, Educational Sciences, Emotional and Social Development, Learning, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, students can take up elective modules and diversify their education. Through various study cases and application-oriented seminars, participants gain key competencies and practical relevance. Furthermore, the BEd promotes the development of soft skills needed for a successful career. The program prepares graduates for complex tasks and to assume teaching positions at special education institutions. It is also an excellent foundation for a later Master’s degree.
