Description


The “Master of Education in Learning Area Basic Mathematical Education (Teacher Training for Special Education)” is a 4-semester program taught in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The focal point of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and provide them with extensive practice work. The curriculum includes advanced courses in Vocational Pedagogy, Subject Didactics and Methodology, Emotional and Social Development, Learning, and German for immigrant students. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll have excellent conditions to develop their personalities and acquire a holistic approach to challenging situations. On top of that, the MEd offers them the opportunity to study abroad and further their qualifications. Graduates are prepared to become teachers at special education institutions.
