The “Master of Science in Mathematics” is a 4-semester program taught in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The aim of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum includes advanced courses in Basic Mathematics, Functional Analysis, Harmonic Analysis And Representation Theory, Differential Equations, Stochastics, Computational Dynamics, and more. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by undertaking elective modules. The MSc is application-oriented and aims to teach students how to turn theory into practice. Through various case studies and group projects, they’ll acquire hands-on experience and industry-specific skills. Graduates are qualified to pursue a career in Engineering, IT, Insurance, Finance and Management, Business Consulting, and Research.
