Description


The teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in Mathematics (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools) is a 6-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Educational Sciences, Subject Didactics and Methodology, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by undertaking elective modules. Throughout their education, students will gain sound theoretical and practical training. The program aims to teach them how to implement their knowledge into practice. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, participants will acquire hands-on experience and key competencies. Furthermore, the BEd offers them the opportunity to study abroad and deepen their qualifications. Graduates are qualified to assume teaching positions at high schools and comprehensive schools. They can also opt for a later Master’s degree.
