The “Master of Education in Mathematics (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)” is German-taught with a duration of 4 semesters. It builds on the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The program aims to deepen the knowledge of students and provide them with extensive practice work. The curriculum includes advanced modules in Science and Subject Didactics, Educational Sciences, Social and Emotional Development, Learning, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by taking elective modules. Through various group projects and application-oriented seminars, students will acquire practical relevance and industry-specific skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are prepared for complex tasks and to assume teaching positions at grammar schools and comprehensive schools.
