The “Master of Education in Mathematics (Teaching at Lower Secondary, Secondary Modern, Secondary and Comprehensive Schools)” is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The focal point of the program is to solidify the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Specialised Science and Subject Didactics, Educational Sciences, Learning, Social and Emotional Development, and more. The MEd is application-oriented and offers students the opportunity to carry out semesters abroad and gain hands-on experience and key competencies.
