The “Master of Arts in Media Studies” is a 4-semester program taught in German. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their qualifications. The aim of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and provide them with extensive practice work. The MEd offers them the opportunity to set their career paths early on by choosing a specialisation in Media Theory/History or Media Analysis. Through various case studies and application-oriented participants will acquire hands-on experience, professional core competencies, and soft skills needed for the dynamic environment of the field. The MA also gives students the opportunity to carry out semesters abroad and further their qualifications. Graduates are qualified to work in cultural and project management, cultural institutions, Publishing, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Research, etc.
