Description
The teacher training program “Master of Education in Music (Teaching at Lower Secondary, Secondary Modern, Secondary and Comprehensive Schools)“ is 4 semesters long and taught in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The aim of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and impart them with extensive practice work. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Educational Sciences, Subject Didactics and Methodology, Social and Emotional Development, Learning, etc. Additionally, students can personalise their education by undertaking elective modules. Throughout their studies, they’ll receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. Participants will acquire hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for a successful career. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to pursue teaching positions at secondary and comprehensive schools.
