The “Bachelor of Arts in Musicology” is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Musicology, Music Theory and Practice, History, Artistic and Scientific Studies, and more. Students can combine their main subject with another i.e. German Language Literatures, English-Language Literature and Culture, Comparative Theology of Religions, Art and Art Education, Management, etc. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll acquire hands-on experience and professional core competencies. Furthermore, the BA promotes the development of soft skills needed for a successful career. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to work in the fields of Publishing and Editing, Concert and Music Theatre Dramaturgy, Radio and Television, Cultural Management, Foundation Systems, etc. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
