The “Bachelor of Education in Learning Area Natural and Social Sciences (General Sciences) (Teaching at Primary Schools)” is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses in Educational Sciences, Subject Didactics and Methodology, as well as German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by undertaking elective modules. The BEd is application-oriented and provides them with hands-on experience and key competencies. It offers students the opportunity to carry out semesters abroad and expand their horizons. The program also promotes the development of soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. The BEd prepares graduates to become teachers at elementary schools. It is also an excellent prerequisite for a Master’s degree.
