The teacher training program “Master of Education in Learning Area Natural and Social Sciences (General Sciences) (Teaching at Primary Schools)“ is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The aim of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and impart them with extensive practice work. The curriculum consists of advanced modules in Vocational Pedagogy, Subject Didactics and Methodology, Learning, Social and Emotional Development, as well as German for immigrant students. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, participants will acquire hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for a successful career. The program qualifies graduates to assume teaching positions at primary schools.
