The teacher training course “Bachelor of Education in Nutrition Studies (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)“ is six semesters long and taught in German. Throughout their education, students will gain a fundamental understanding of Specialized Science and Didactics in Nutrition Studies and a further subject, Educational Sciences, German for immigrant students, etc. Additionally, they can personalise their education by undertaking elective modules. The BEd is application-oriented and aims to teach participants how to implement their vast knowledge intro practice. It also offers them the opportunity to study a semester abroad and gain hands-on experience and key competencies. The BEd prepares graduates for teaching positions in high schools and comprehensive schools. They can also pursue a later Master’s degree.
