The teacher training program „Master of Education in Pedagogy (Teaching at Vocational Schools“ is a 4-semester program taught in German. It builds on the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The focal point of the program is to intensify the knowledge of participants and provide them with extensive practice work. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses in Subject Didactics and Methodology, Vocational Pedagogy, Learning, Social and Emotional Development, and more. Additionally, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. The MEd is application-oriented and aims to provide them with practical relevance, key competencies, and soft skills. Graduates are qualified to assume teaching positions at vocational schools.
