The teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in Pedagogy (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)“ is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Educational Sciences, Specialised Science and Subject Didactics, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can undertake elective modules in order to personalise their studies. The program is application-oriented and aims to teach students how to implement their knowledge into practice. Through various case studies and group projects, they’ll acquire hands-on experience and professional core competencies. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to become teachers at high schools and comprehensive schools. They can also pursue a consecutive Master’s degree.
