The teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in Physics (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)“ is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Vocational Pedagogy, Subject Didactics and Methodology, as well as German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can choose from various elective modules and diversify their studies. The program is application-oriented and provides students with various case studies and group projects through which they’ll gain hands-on experience and key competencies. Furthermore, the BEd offers them the opportunity to study abroad and expand their horizons. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume teaching positions in Physics at grammar schools and comprehensive schools. They can also pursue a consecutive Master’s degree.
