The teacher training program “Master of Education in Physics (Teaching at Vocational Schools)“ is a 4-semester program taught in German. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelors’s degree who wish to further their education. The curriculum consists of advanced courses in Science and Didactics in Physics and a further subject, Vocational Pedagogy, Learning, Social and Emotional Development, and more. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by taking up elective modules. The program is application-oriented and aims to provide them with hands-on experience and professional core competencies. Furthermore, the MEd promotes the development of soft skills needed for the dynamic environment of the field. Graduates are prepared for complex tasks and qualified to become teachers at vocational schools.
