The “Bachelor of Arts in Popular Music and Media” is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Popular Music, Culture and Media, Music, Event, and Culture Management, Music Production, Music and Culture Journalism, Media Work, Artist and Performance Coaching, and more. Additionally, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. The BA is application-oriented and provides participants with practical relevance and key competencies. It also promotes the development of soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. On top of that, the BA offers students the opportunity to carry out semesters abroad and further their qualifications. Graduates are qualified to pursue a career in Journalism, Culture and Event Management, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Cultural Policy, Cultural Mediation, etc. They can also opt for a subsequent Master’s degree.
