The teacher training program „Bachelor of Education in Practical Philosophy/Philosophy (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)“ is a 6-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Educational Sciences, Subject Didactics and Methodology, and German for immigrant students. Also, participants can diversify their studies by undertaking elective modules. The BEd is application-oriented and aim to teach students how to implement their knowledge into practice. Furthermore, it offers them the opportunity to carry out semesters abroad and gain key competencies and practical relevance. The BEd prepares graduates to assume teaching positions at grammar schools and comprehensive schools. Graduates can also pursue a consecutive Master’s degree.
