The teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in Practical Philosophy (Teaching at Vocational Schools)“ is a 6-semester program taught in German. Throughout their education, students will focus on Subject Didactics and Methodology, Educational Sciences, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can choose from a plethora of elective modules and personalise their studies. Through various group projects and application-oriented seminars, they’ll acquire hands-on experience and key competencies. Furthermore, the program promotes the development of soft skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, communication and organisation, and more. The BEd prepares graduates to assume teaching positions at vocational schools. It is also a prerequisite for a later Master’s degree.
