The teaching qualification program “Master of Education in Practical Philosophy (Teaching at Vocational Schools)“ is a 4-semester program conducted in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The program aims to deepen the knowledge of students and provide them with extensive practice work. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses in Vocational Pedagogy, Subject Didactics and Methodology, Learning, Social and Emotional Development, etc. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies and take up elective modules. The application-oriented program aims to provide students with hands-on experience, professional core competencies, and soft skills. Furthermore, it offers them the opportunity to study abroad and expand their horizons. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to become teachers at vocational schools.
