The “Bachelor of Education in Practical Philosophy (Teaching at Lower Secondary, Secondary Modern, Secondary and Comprehensive Schools)” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses in Educational Sciences, Science and Didactics in Practical Philosophy and a further subject, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can choose from various elective modules in order to diversify their studies. Throughout the course of their education, they’ll receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. Through various study cases and application-oriented seminars, students will acquire hands-on experience and key competencies. Furthermore, the BEd offers them the opportunity to carry out semesters abroad and further their qualifications. Upon completion of the program, graduates are prepared to teach. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
