Description

The “Master of Education in Protestant Religious Education (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)” is a 4-semester program taught in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The vocational course aims to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Subject Science and Didactics in Protestant Religion and a further subject, Educational Science, as well as German for immigrant students. The program is application-oriented and teaches participants how to implement their knowledge into practice. Through various group projects and seminars, they’ll acquire hands-on experience and key competencies. The MEd qualifies graduates to become teachers in Protestant Religion at high schools or comprehensive schools.
