Description
The teacher training program “Master of Education in Protestant Religious Education (Teacher Training for Special Education)“ is 4 semesters long and taught in German. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their education. The program aims to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. Throughout their studies, participants will focus on Specialised Science and Subject Didactics in Protestant Religion and a further subject, Emotional and Social Development, Learning, Educational Sciences, and German for immigrant students. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, participants will acquire hands-on experience and professional core competencies needed for a successful career. They’ll also develop a holistic approach to challenging situations. The MEd prepares graduates to become teachers at special education institutions.
