Description


The teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in Protestant Religious Education (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)“ is a 6-semester program conducted in German. Throughout their education, students will gain a fundamental understanding of Educational Sciences, Subject Didactics and Methodology, and German for immigrant students. They can combine their main subject with two other i.e. English, Chemistry, Nutrition, Musicology, Sports, and more. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, participants will acquire hands-on experiance and key competencies needed for day-to-day operations. Additionally, the program promotes the development of soft skills such as teamwork, moderation, problem-solving, communication and organisation, etc. The BEd prepares graduates to assume teaching positions at high schools or comprehensive schools. They can also pursue a subsequent Master’s degree.
