Description


The teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in Spanish (Lower Secondary, Secondary Modern, Secondary and Comprehensive Schools)“ is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses with a focus on Subject Didactics and Methodology, Educational Sciences, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, students can diversify their education by undertaking elective modules. The program is application-oriented and aims to teach participants how to implement their knowledge into practice. Through various case studies and group projects, they’ll acquire hands-on experience and key competencies. Furthermore, the BEd promotes the development of soft skills needed for the dynamic environment of the profession. The program prepares graduates to become teachers. It is also an excellent foundation for a later Master’s degree.
