The teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in Physical Education (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)“ is a 6-semester program taught in German. Throughout their studies, participants will focus on Educational Sciences, Subject Didactics and Methodology, and German for immigrant students. They can also choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. The BEd is application-oriented and aims to teach students how to implement their knowledge into practice. Through various case studies and group projects, they’ll acquire practical relevance and key competencies. Also, the BEd offers participants the opportunity to study abroad and expand their horizons. Upon completion of the program, graduates are prepared to assume teaching positions at grammar schools and comprehensive schools. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
