The “Bachelor of Education in Physical Education (Teacher Training for Special Education)” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. Throughout their studies, participants will focus on Educational Sciences, Subject Didactics, and German for immigrant students. They can also choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. The BEd is application-oriented and aims to teach students how to turn theory into practice. Through various case studies and group projects, they’ll gain hands-on experience and professional core competencies. Also, the program offers them the opportunity to carry out semesters abroad and further their qualifications. The BEd qualifies graduates to assume teaching positions at special education institutions. It is also an excellent prerequisite for a later Master’s degree.
