The “Master of Education in Physical Education (Teacher Training for Special Education)” is a 4-semester program taught in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Leipzig. The aim of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum consists of Specialised Science and Didactics, Educational Sciences, Learning, Social and Emotional Development, and more. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll gain hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for a successful career. The program also offers students the opportunity to carry out semesters abroad and further their qualifications. The MEd prepares graduates to assume teaching positions at special education institutions.
