Description
The teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in Textile Design (Teaching at Lower Secondary, Secondary Modern, Secondary and Comprehensive Schools) is a 6-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses with a focus on Vocational Pedagogy, Subject Didactics and Methodology, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can personalise their education by undertaking elective modules. The BEd is application-oriented and aims to teach students how to implement their knowledge into practice. Through various case studies and group projects, they’ll acquire hands-on experience and industry-specific skills. Furthermore, the program offers them the opportunity to carry out semesters abroad and expand their horizons. Graduates are qualified to pursue teaching positions. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
