The double-degree program “Master of Science in Computational Mathematics with HSE Nizhny Novgorod” at the University of Passau has a length of four semesters and is taught in English. The training aims to provide students with a double qualification in computational mathematics. The syllabus contains the areas such as Cryptography, Computer Algebra, Algorithmic Algebra and Geometry, Image and Signals Processing, Statistics and Stochastic Simulation, Dynamical Systems and Data Management. In addition, the course offers participants the opportunity to spend one year studying at the University of Passau and one year at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Nizhny Novgorod. To submit, applicants must be enrolled in the MSc program in Computational Mathematics at the University of Passau and have a B2 level of English. Students can choose whether to write their master’s thesis in Passau or Nizhny Novgorod.
