The University of Teacher Education Thurgau, founded in 2003, is a public university seated in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland. It provides teacher education to some 800 students currently. Prospective students can choose between the following five study programs: “Pre-Primary Level“ (Teaching Diploma/B.A. in Pre-Primary Education), “Primary Level“ (Teaching Diploma/B.A. in Primary Education), “Secondary Level I“ (Teaching Diploma/M.A. in Secondary Education), “Secondary Level II“ (MAS in Secondary and Higher Education), as well as “Early Childhood Studies“ (M.A.). The teacher education provided by the University covers the following fields of study: General Didactics/Educational and Social Sciences/German/Foreign Languages/Design and Art/Mathematics/Media Education and Computer Science/Music/Natur, Man, Society/Physical Education/Science and Research. The range of continuative studies includes continuing education course, as well as the training courses “Career Coach“ (CAS), “Learning Coaching“ (CAS), “Counselling in Development Psychology“ (CAS), “School Management“ (CAS), “International Master in School Development“ (M.A.), as well as “Early Childhood Education“ (CAS).
